Yangon, Myanmar – July 2017- The Chaines Des Rotisseurs, Baillage du Myanmar and Rose Garden Hotel presented a cheque of USD 6580.00 to My Red Elephant at a cheque presentation held today at Rose Garden Hotel.
The funds presented today is from the sales proceeds of the 2nd European Festival held at the Rose Garden Hotel on 24th June 2017 where the best European restaurants in Yangon showcased the culinary diversity of Europe with dishes from 28 European countries forming a “who’s who” of Yangon’s European dining scene. Main sponsors of the event were Carlsberg Beer, AGD Bank and Rose Garden Hotel as the venue sponsor.
My Red Elephant is a nonprofit organization that provides young aspiring chefs with hearing disabilities with educational and vocational training, allowing them to find jobs appropriate to their skills, and consequently to lead independent lives, contributing to the support of their families.

Rose Garden Hotel is offering on-the-job- training and continue employment to the students from My Red Elephant. Two of the current trainees received the cheque on behalf of My Red Elephant.
The money from ticket sales raised a total USD 13160.00 which USD 6580.00 has been donated to the Myittar Yaung Chi Orphanage in Thanlyin.
