Together, in the informal setting of the 19th century European Salon, we will explore familiar and unfamiliar pieces. This odyssey will be open to audience commentary and sharing ideas with the pianists in both Myanmar and English languages.
Part 1:
Ying Hua Huang on the piano, well known to our regular visitors to the Rose Garden Piano salon, is a pianist from Taiwan. She has been focusing on contemporary music and cooperating with different kind of musicians, and has performed in Taiwan, Russia, France, UK, China, and Myanmar. Ms. Huang has worked under Victor Karpovich Merzhanov, Shan-Shan Wang, Ru-Xing Huang, Hsing-Chwen Giselle Hsin, Lynn Raley, and David Owen Norris’ guidance. She holds a B.A. from National Taiwan University of Arts, and a M.M. from National Chiao Tung University.

Part 2:
Gisela Pinto Zincone, is a Brazilian piano player and composer. She started her studies of classical piano in Brazil as a child. As a young adult she moved to New York City and studied jazz piano and scat singing at City College of New York. Back in Brazil she formed a girls band named Afrodite se Quiser. The band recorded two albuns and had a hit song on the top 40`s chart of Brazil. Since then, she has become a book publisher, publishing sheet music and text books. She is currently living in Myanmar.
